Zagg Z-buds Headphones Review

The Z-buds come to us from Zagg. They're portable in-ears with semi-open backs. They also have two in-line controls: a remote button and microphone, plus a volume control. The Z-buds have a suggested retail price of $80, but, like anything, can be found for cheaper. The Z-buds have elements of good and bad design. For example, their case is more rugged than what we typically see, but their in-line accessories could allow the internal wires to twist up easily. In terms of audio quality, it had very low distortion levels, but its frequency response was a bit erratic. It also had some issues with tracking.
