Ultrasone, the manufacturer known for the HFI-2200s and probably other headphones as well, has unveiled a new flagship model today. The HFI-2400s will feature the "natural surround sound" we didn't like on the HFI-2200s, which, according to the press release, will reduce pressure on the eardrum by up to 40%. The press release doesn't explain how the feature will accomplish this, leading us to believe witchcraft is responsible.

The headphones appear to feature the same foldable, open-back design as the HFI-2200s and come with a removeable 10-foot cord. They also feature a magical technology that reduces electro-magnetic radiation by 98%, which is good for those who like to shove their headphones into their pace-makers.

These headphones should be available for $329 at the end of October.
