October 14, 2009Shure announces new addition to SRH line: the SRH750DJ headphones
Shure announced some new headphones in the SRH line: the SRH750DJ. As one could feasibly guess from their name, they were designed with DJs in mind. The headphones use custom 50mm drivers, which should 'deliver high-output bass with extended highs,' which is something no self-resepecting professional DJ should be without. The cable and ear cups are replaceable, which should extend the headphones' longevity.

Below you'll find a list of the heapdhones' other features, as listed in the release. We've taken the liberty of stripping out the non-essential PR speak, because you are our favorite reader.
• 3,000 mW maximum input power
• Adjustable, collapsible headband with 90-degree swivel ear cups (for single-ear listening)
• Closed-back, circumaural design
• 3m (10ft) coiled detachable cable, connects with bayonet clip
The SRH750DJ headphones will have an MSRP of $188, but will apparently retail for $149.99 in November.
