Tour & Design Conclusion

SE115The Shure SE115s are a nice option for $120, but it has some harsh competition at this price point. They did have some issues in our testing, specifically our frequency response test, but still remain solid at their price point. If you're looking to upgrade, the SE420s are probably a better value than the SE530s. If you aren't sure you like the SE115s' design, you might want to try out the Sennheiser MM 50 iPs or the CX 300-IIs, which are both solid headphones.

Overall, the SE115s are a great, less-expensive-than-usual, entry-level option from Shure. Try to pick it up for under $100, because such deals are very easy to find.
