The Sennheiser MM50 iP headphones are a set of in-ears aimed at iPhone users. The headphones have a microphone and button built in, which will allow you to field phone calls and control your media player without having to reach into your pocket. The MM50 iPs are currently available for $99.95.

The MM50 iPs have great audio quality. They have a strong bass response, although the lower bass sounds might get slightly boomy. They have very, very low levels of distortion, so the MM50 iPs might be a good set for purists to consider. The MM50 iPs did score slightly lower than other in-ears on our isolation test, but still performed well over average. They also had very good leakage control, so no one around you will hear any of your playback.

Overall, we thought the MM50 iP headphones were a great value. At $100, they provide great audio quality at a very low price. The only issue we had with the MM50 iPs was with their plug. The plug doesn't have a very good cord guard, and sticks out (as opposed to some headphones, which feature a 90-degree bend after the plug). This means the cable can easily bend and pull against the cord, especially if you're connecting to a media player in your pocket. As long as you keep cord safety in mind, however, the MM50 iP headphones are a great choice.

Section The Good The Bad
Tour & Design In-ear headphones are great for portability. The headphones look nice and come with a microphone.
The cord guard at the plug is bad: high potential for wear and tear.
Performance The MM50 iP headphones have great audio quality, performing well on every test we run.
There are many in-ear headphones that feature better isolation than the MM50 iPs.
In Use The headphones are comfortable, even when worn for long stretches of time.
They don't come with many sleeve options.
Value & Comparisons The MM50 iPs are a ridiculous value. If you're looking for something portable on a budget, spring for these headphones.
It's hard to argue against this kind of performance available for just $100.
