Introduction
The Sennheiser MM50 iP headphones are a set of in-ears aimed at iPhone users. The headphones have a microphone and button built in, which will allow you to field phone calls and control your media player without having to reach into your pocket. The MM50 iPs are currently available for $99.95.
The MM50 iPs have great audio quality. They have a strong bass response, although the lower bass sounds might get slightly boomy. They have very, very low levels of distortion, so the MM50 iPs might be a good set for purists to consider. The MM50 iPs did score slightly lower than other in-ears on our isolation test, but still performed well over average. They also had very good leakage control, so no one around you will hear any of your playback.
Overall, we thought the MM50 iP headphones were a great value. At $100, they provide great audio quality at a very low price. The only issue we had with the MM50 iPs was with their plug. The plug doesn’t have a very good cord guard, and sticks out (as opposed to some headphones, which feature a 90-degree bend after the plug). This means the cable can easily bend and pull against the cord, especially if you’re connecting to a media player in your pocket. As long as you keep cord safety in mind, however, the MM50 iP headphones are a great choice.

The Sennheiser CX 680i in-ear headphones are a decent set of lower-mid-range headphones with a remote & mic.
