March 21, 2008Genius Announces New 3D Headphones
Genius, a KYE Systems Corp. brand, has announced the GHP-05 Live, a new set of headphones that includes a feature called DRD True 3-D sound, which enhances bass and dynamic range to, the company claims, produce a more realistic live sound. The new feature uses echo phase control to improve audio range. The headphones do not, however, provide any true surround sound processing, such as Dolby Headphone, and cannot work from a digital surround sound source. The headphones come with an extension cable, 3.5mm-RCA converter, and a 6.3mm adaptor to connect to any audio device. The GHP-05 Live headphones cost $59.00. More details are available at the Genius Web site.

The Sennheiser CX 680i in-ear headphones are a decent set of lower-mid-range headphones with a remote & mic.
