The AH-C351 headphones are an in-ear offering from Denon. These headphones have a very short cord, which is perfect for hooking up to an arm-worn media player. This feature, coupled with ear buds that won't fall out easily, make the AH-C351s a good option for joggers. Also, if you prefer to keep your media player in your pocket, there's also an included extension cord that stretches your connectivity to a normal length for in-ear headphones.

Our testing found that, while the AH-C351s don't offer the most pristine audio quality, they aren't terrible. These headphones tend to underemphasize the middle-range tones and feature low levels of distortion at all frequencies. They had good tracking, meaning one ear piece isn't outputting drastically different decibel levels. Strangely enough, these headphones don't provide as much isolation as other in-ear headphones we've tested.

The Denon AH-C351 headphones are available from Denon's site for $49.99.

Section The Good The Bad
Tour & Design Sleek, look good, a good length for joggers with arm-mounted media players.
If you're not looking to connect to something a foot away, the necessary extension cord is annoying.
Performance Pretty low distortion, good leakage control.
Poor frequency response, low isolation for in ear headphones.
In Use Comfortable, very portable.
Just one type of sleeve (the rubbery part that goes in your ear).
Value & Comparisons The AH-C351 offer a lot for the price, both in terms of quality and usability.
The Apple iPod In-ear Headphones cost $20 less and offer much the same audio quality.
